Partners
The five partners involved in ISLA are Dienst Landelijk Gebied, Shetland Amenity Trust, Argyll & Bute Council, Bere Island Projects’ Group and Conservatoire de l’Espace littoral et des rivages lacustres.
Dienst Landelijk Gebied (Netherlands)
Dienst Landelijk Gebied is the government agency responsible for land
management in the Netherlands. In this project Dienst Landelijk Gebied is the
Lead partner and responsible for the overall project management of ISLA.
Dienst Landelijk Gebied is also a partner in ISLA with a project focused on developing Tiengemeten Island.
Shetland Amenity Trust (Scotland)
The Shetland Amenity Trust is responsible for the promotion of Shetland
culture and tourism. It is an intermediary between the local communities and
the regional government.
Argyll & Bute Council (Scotland)
The Argyll & Bute Council has a partnership with Nadair Trust and
together they foster sustainable development across the islands of the Argyll
archipelago.
Bere Island Projects Group (Ireland)
Initiatives on Bere Island are planned and developed by this project group,
composed of community representatives.
Conservatoire de l’Espace du Littoral et des rivages lacustres
(France)
The Conservatoire de l’Espace du Littoral is a government agency and is
responsible for land management of islands in Brittany.
