Islands

Islands are by their very nature uniquely geographically separated. Within the European context we feel that given the right spatial planning impulses, small islands can be given a brighter future that guarantees their economic anchoring into the rest of north-west Europe without compromising their environmental and cultural quality.

The ISLA project focuses on several islands in Scotland, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, some of which are on their own and some part of greater island conglomerations.
